Exercise testing is an important part of evaluation of patients with suspected or diagnosed cardiac problems. FIC has state of the art Toshiba 9320K Stress Testing System. The patient is exercised on a treadmill while his 12 lead ECG is continuously monitored by a computerized machine which continuously processes and displays all the leads simultaneously. The machine has advanced signal averaging capability to filter out artifacts and produces high quality printout for accurate diagnosis. For those patients who can not perform exercise due to physical disability, the alternate method of pharmacological stress testing is employed. All the tests are performed by qualified technicians and are physician supervised. All the reports are prepared by medical officers and verified by consultant cardiologists before being issued to patients.
